It’s important to come in for dental hygiene visits every six months -- and these appointments involve so much more than cleaning.
Oral hygiene visits involve digital X-rays, scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, as well as education on proper brushing and flossing techniques.
These appointments also include a visual and manual check for lumps and lesions. This is important so Dr. Rocca can evaluate any tissue changes in terms of colour and texture which may require further testing.
